Sarah McPhedran
MSc Candidate
I am a fourth year university student, majoring in biochemistry and minoring in psychology. I graduate from my undergraduate degree August 2021, after which I will be starting graduate studies at the University of Victoria in the faculty of biochemistry and microbiology.
When I am not in the lab, you will find me reading books, spending time with my dog and cats, exploring nature and hanging out with friends and family.
RESEARCH FOCUS
During my summer studentship, I will be focusing on expanding the use of the CRISPR-Cas9 for multiplex editing, thus creating a more efficient way to engineer T cells to treat and eliminate cancer.
